There’s a weekend driving school at Summit Point Raceway in October, and I’m really considering doing it. WV is far out of the way for me, but it seems like a really good deal. Anyone here have experience with this event, or with Summit Point?

I’ve only been once, and I was working an event at the “summit point” circuit. The facility, at least in terms of the sheer quantity of stuff to do, is pretty cool. I didn’t get a chance to see Shenandoah, but I would definitely go back to the circuit I was at to race. Only probably for me is the tow, 6ish hours seems a bit much when I’ve got a ton of other places to pick from closer to home. You’ll like end up looking to stay in Winchester VA. Not sure if I can offer much more advice, than do it!

Nope, I am almost sure that I never went out for a lap. As I mentioned, I was working the event that was outside my normal club. I didn’t want to take too many liberties as the “new” guy.
